De Haviland propeller sculpture Ideal for any lounge or office

• An original De Haviland Heron aeroplane propeller blade.
• Polished to a high gloss shine and mounted it on a stainless steel base.
• Ideal item of interest for the corner of any lounge or office.

The donor item in this art sculpture is an original De Haviland Heron aeroplane propeller blade. We have polished it to a high gloss shine and mounted it on a stainless steel base to sit nicely in the corner of a lounge or office.

Dimensions:
Height: 108cm

For greater effect the blade can be fitted with led lighting to shine onto the nearest wall behind the sculpture, producing a  backdrop for the blade to present itself in.

The De Haviland Heron is a four engined mini airliner that first flew on 10th May 1950 and was a development of the earlier two engined DH Dove. The Heron was typically used on flights to the channel islands, on inter island short haul flights in the Carribean and Far East and the Queens flight operated two Herons.
